ESPORT WORLD CUP OPENING

Show Coordination

On July 8th, the Esports World Cup opened its Paris chapter with a live ceremony at La Seine Musicale, turning a global gaming tournament into a cinematic love letter to the city.

The Show

Six acts, one city as the set. The ceremony moved from the Louvre to the Catacombs, from gravity-defying stage design to a full-scale battle sequence, before landing back in Paris for the Falcons' trophy reveal. Aya Nakamura, DJ Snake, Théodora and Mosimann took the stage alongside 20 dancers and the world's top esports clubs, blending French pop culture with competitive gaming in front of a global audience, live and broadcast.

Behind the curtain

Four weeks on the ground, sitting between the creative vision and the technical floor: artistic and technical coordination, stage movement, and assistant direction. Deputy for esport player selection. A six-act narrative to keep coherent from page to stage, dancers, videos, cues, lighting and broadcast all landing on the same beat.
